Distribution elsewhere. Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad, USA and Venezuela.

Remarks. Great variation in the measurements of this species were experimentally demonstrated by Lopes et al. (2018), according to variations in temperature and food type. The measurements of the specimens examined in this study are contained within the ranges mentioned by those authors. The only two reports of E. concordis outside the American continent and the Caribbean islands, Montenegro ( Mijuskovic & Tomasevic, 1975) and Portugal ( Carmona, 1962; 1966), are probably misidentification as discussed by Lopes et al. (2015).
