Morphological data.
This species can be morphologically distinguished from its nearest neighbor by having large portions of the mesoscutum and mesepimeron brown (Fig. 19 View Figure 19 ) compared to entirely black.

Etymology.
Bracon pauldimaurai is named in honor of Paul Dimaura of Boston, Massachusetts for his decades of support of the University of Pennsylvania in general and D. H. Janzen’s position as a professor of conservation biology specifically.
