The tribe Odonturini should probably contain only the genus Odontura ( Grzywacz et al. 2014) , although it includes at present another 11 genera in OSF rather than the genus Monticolaria . However, we think Monticolaria represented by the specimen at hand fits well into the tribe in its present understanding.
