Remark. Scolopocryptops gracilis Wood, 1862 ( Shelley 2002) has been documented in Baja California, and Scolopocryptops ferrugineus (Linnaeus, 1767) occurs in Guerrero ( Pocock 1895 -1910) and Veracruz (Chagas 2003). Chilobase ( Minelli 2006) also record S. melanostomus Newport, 1845 from México in general, so just three species of Scolopocryptops has been documented to occur in the country.
