Pap[ilio] Dan[aus] Cand[idus] lyncida Cramer, 1777: 52 , 149, pl.131, fig. B [original plate 97, fig. C]. ‘Surinam’ [error, actually from Oriental region; figure suggests the Javan race which agrees with current usage] (Baron Rengers).

Material examined. No potential Cramer specimens located.

Current status. Valid species in Appias ( Vane-Wright & de Jong, 2003) .
