BIANOR CRAMER, 1777

Pap[ilio] Eq[ues] Troj[anus] bianor Cramer, 1777: 10 , 148, pl.103, fig. C [original plate 35, fig. A]. China (figured from specimen in collection of Mr le Ministre E.F.Alberti; Cramer’s nephew, Mr Anthony van Rensselaar Willemsz is also stated to possess this species).

Papilio Eques View in CoL Achivus bianor, Stoll, 1782b: 3 [No. 7].

Material examined. No potential Cramer specimens located.

Current status. Valid species in Papilio (Achillides) ( Häuser et al., 2003) .

CODRUS CRAMER, 1777 View in CoL

( FIG. 7 View Figures 3–8 )

Pap[ilio] Eq[ues] Achiv[us] codrus Cramer, 1777: 127 , 148, pl.179, A, B [original plate 147, figs A, A]. ‘Isle d’Amboine’ [= Indonesia, Ambon] (Cornelis van Lennep).

Papilio Eques View in CoL Achivus codrus, Stoll, 1782b: 3 [No. 26].

Material examined. There is one old specimen ex Felder collection (with more recent pencilled label ‘Amboyna’ but no other data, BMNH (E)#665380), which has been re-pinned and repaired. It is a good match for Cramer’s figure and, because this species was described from van Lennep material, it is possible that it is a syntype .

Current status. Valid species in Graphium (s.s.) ( Häuser et al., 2003).
