Generitype of Roella Linnaeus (vide Hitchcock, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 131. 1929).

Current name: Roella ciliata L. ( Campanulaceae ).

Note: Adamson (in J. S. African Bot. 17: 132. 1951) indicated material in LINN as type but sheet 222.1 (LINN) lacks the Species Plantarum number (i.e. “21”), and is a post-1753 addition to the herbarium, and is not original material for the name.
