Hybrid: Nolletia chrysocomoides View in CoL × Nolletia annetjieae

Five specimens were seen where the cypselae on the same plant have a mixture of features from the above two species: some cypselae have circular epicarpic cells all over the surface, each with a twin hair; some cypselae have scattered paired circular epicarpic cells each with a single twin hair between them and some cypselae have circular epicarpic cells all over the surface but with a single twin hair between two cells. Also vegetatively, the plants resemble either N. chrysocomoides or N. annetjieae . These hybrid specimens were only recorded from Namibia ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 ).
