Type locality.

Port Jackson, New South Wales, Australia.

Type material.

Syntypes: ANSP A7040, 2 specimens (one 16.7 and another 11.3 mm long preserved); ANSP 64931 ( Pilsbry 1896b: pl. 44, figs 38-41; Valdés et al. 2017: fig. 8E, F), 1 shell (6.7 mm long; ex J. C. Cox 1893).

Remarks.

Both alcohol specimens have had the shell removed, but only one shell is present in the corresponding dry lot.

Current systematic position.

Dolabrifera brazieri G. B. Sowerby II, 1870 (fide Valdés et al. 2017).
