Previously recorded (see Kott 2001, 2002a, 2004a): Western Australia (Cape Jaubert) ; South Australia (Cape Jaffa, Port Turton, Kingston , Flinders , Kangaroo I.); Victoria ( Western Port ) ; Tasmania (Swan I., southern Tasmania) ; New South Wales (Port Hacking, Sydney Harbour, Arrawarra ); Queensland (Fraser I., Bargara, Cairns, Princess
Charlotte Bay); Northern Territory (Darwin, Gulf of Carpentaria); New Caledonia; Indonesia; India. New record: South Australia (Port Victoria, jetty piles, SAM E2847).
Remarks
The species is distinguished from the partly sympatric T. nobile Kott, 2001 by its larger spicules and eight (rather than 10) vas deferens coils.
