Type material. Holotype. Brazil: São Paulo, Ilhabela, Parque Estadual de Ilhabela , 23°51’7”S; 45°20’38”W, 14.X.2001, Equipe Biota leg., 1F, collected by beating tray ( IBSP 209896 View Materials ) GoogleMaps . Paratype. Etymology. The specific name is taken from Latin decorus (beautiful), in reference to the habitus of this species.
Diagnosis. Females are similar to those of C. minusculus (Gertsch, 1936) (see Levi 1954, figs. 28, 29) by having the epigynum with a subcircular depression and by the shape of the internal genitalia with oval spermathecae, but differ by the subcircular depression farther from the posterior margin of epigynum ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 13 – 15 ) and by the spermathecae more separated from each other ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 13 – 15 ). Males remain unknown.
Description. Female holotype (from Parque Estadual de Ilhabela, IBSP 209896). Total length 3.30. Carapace length 0.88, width 0.73. Clypeus height 0.14. Sternum length 0.78, width 0.62. Abdomen length 2.18, width 2.18, height 1.97. Leg formula IV/I/II/III; segment length (I/II/III/IV): femora 1.91/1.40/1.02/1.95; patellae+tibiae 2.22/ 1.34/1.05/2.31; metatarsi+tarsi 2.94/1.95/1.61/3.12; total 7.07/4.70/3.69/7.39. Carapace orange-brown, semicircular, almost half the width of abdomen, cephalic region narrow, about half width of carapace ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 24 – 28 ). Chelicerae same color of carapace. Sternum lighter than carapace with darkened edges. AME, ALE and PLE with same diameter while PME are bigger. Legs with same color as the carapace. Abdomen oval, dorsum and venter yellow with irregular brown marks ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 24 – 28 ). Dorsally without tubercles ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 24 – 28 ). Spinnerets yellow. Epigynum with a slightly sclerotized plate, wider than long ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 13 – 15 ) with a ventral subcircular depression ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 13 – 15 ). Internal genital with oval spermathecae ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 13 – 15 ); fertilization ducts shorts, uncoiled and copulatory ducts long and coiled, over the spermathecae ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 13 – 15 ).
