Types. Holotype: ♀, 1300–1400m, Fenshuiling, Jinping, Yunnan, China, 4.IX.2016, George Ho Wai-Chun (HKES); Paratypes: 3♂, 2♀ & 16 eggs (naturally laid by holotype & paratypes ♀), 1300–1400m, Fenshuiling, Jinping, Yunnan, China, 4.IX.2016, George Ho Wai-Chun (HKES & SNUC); 2♂, 2♀ & 11 eggs (naturally laid by paratypes ♀), 1300–1400m, Huanglianshan, Luchun, Yunnan, China, 6–7.IX.2016, George Ho Wai-Chun (HKES).

Diagnosis. Oxyartes rubris sp. nov. [ China (Yunnan)] is related to Oxyartes lamellatus Kirby, 1904 [ China (Guangxi) & Vietnam], but can be separated by smaller size in both sexes, unarmed thorax in male and hump-like crest on posteromedial area of fifth abdominal tergum in female.

Description. Female (Figs. 128–129, 164–166, 170). Medium-sized. General colour of body and legs brown. Body robust.

Head: Oval, as long as pronotum, sparsely covered with small granules. Vertex flat, unarmed. Occiput gently convex, with eight swellings on posterior margin, median and lateral longitudinal furrows indistinct. Compound eyes small and oval. Antennae long and filiform, surpassing apices of forelegs, sparsely covered with short bristles; scapus longer than pedicellus, shorter than third segment.

Thorax: Pronotum sparsely covered with small granules, anterior margin curved inwards, posterior margin rounded, transverse and longitudinal sulci crossing at middle area. Mesonotum moderately expanded posteriorly, median longitudinal carina indistinct; covered with small and sparse granules, also interspersed with a few tubercle-like granules; anterior area elevated with an obscure hump bearing a pair of short tubercles, posterior margin with a pair of small tubercle-like granules. Metanotum, mesopleurae, mesosternum, metapleurae and metasternum sparsely covered small granules.

Abdomen: Rough, sparsely covered with small granules and with short wrinkles. Median segment roughly as long as metanotum. Third to fifth and seventh to ninth tergites with a horn-like spine posteromedially. Sixth tergum with a hump-like crest posteromedially. Seventh sternum lacking noticeable praeopercular organ. Eighth tergum longer than ninth tergum. Anal segment as long as ninth tergum, with an emargination on posterior margin. Subgenital plate scoop-shaped, surpassing posterior margin of anal segment, posterior margin rounded. Cerci short, straight, apices pointed and not surpassing end of abdomen.

Legs: Slender and long. Unarmed. Sparsely covered with short bristles. Anteroventral carina of femora with a small spine subapically, posteroventral carina of femora with two to three small spines subapically. Profemora incurved basally. Medioventral carina of tibiae elevated basally.

Wings: Tegmina small and scale-like. Alae small, oval, shorter than pronotum, costal region brown, anal region red, posterior apices not reaching middle area of median abdominal segment.

Male. (Figs. 130–131, 167–169, 171). Medium-sized. Body slender, smaller and more slender than female. General colour of body and legs brown.

Head: Oval, with sparse and inconspicuous granulations. Vertex flat, unarmed. Occiput flat, posterior margin with six small swellings. Compound eyes oval. Antennae long and filiform; scapus flattened basally, as long as third segment, longer than pedicellus.

Thorax: Sparsely covered with small granules. Pronotum rectangular, transverse and longitudinal sulci crossing at middle point, anterior margin curved inwards, posterior margin nearly truncate. Mesonotum unarmed, median longitudinal line indistinct.

Abdomen: Slender and wrinkled. Second to seventh tergites parallel-sided, with a small tubercle posteromedially. Eighth tergum expanded posteriorly, longer than ninth tergum. Anal segment shorter than ninth tergum, posterior margin thickened and with a broad V-shaped emargination. Poculum cup-shaped, posterior margin rounded, reaching middle area of anal segment. Cerci cylindrical, apices rounded and surpassing posterior margin of anal segment.

Legs: Slender and long. Sparsely covered with short bristles. Femora roughly as long as corresponding protibiae, anteroventral carina of femora with a small spine subapically, posteroventral carina of femora with three to four small spines subapically. Profemora distinctly curved at base. Mesofemora shorter than mesonotum.

Wings: Tegmina small and scale-like. Alae short, oval, costal region yellow and black, anal region red, posterior apices not reaching middle area median abdominal segment.

Eggs (Figs. 282–283). Capsule blackish brown, oval, posterior pole rounded, smooth. Micropylar plate oval, anterior margin rounded. Micropylar cup placed after middle point of micropylar plate. Median line long, almost as long as micropylar plate. Operculum blackish brown, centrally elevated with a small and closed-stalked capitulum.

Measurements. Length 3.0 mm, width 2.0 mm, height 2.4 mm.

Distribution. China (Yunnan).

Etymology. The specific epithet of this new species is derived from the red anal region of alae in both sexes.

Genus Planososibia Seow-Choen, 2016

Type-species. Necroscia esacus Westwood, 1859: 132 , by original designation.

Description. Medium-sized. Usually brown or blackish brown. Body cylindrical. Head oval or rounded, unarmed. Occiput weakly convex or flat. Mesonotum granulated. Abdomen with wrinkles. Seventh sternum rarely with praeopercular organ in female. Female subgenital plate scoop-shaped, tapering posteriorly, posterior margin rounded. Male poculum small, cup-shaped. Anal segment with emargination on posterior margin. Supra-anal plate usually distinct in female. Cerci short and cylindrical. Legs unarmed and slender. Profemora short. Tegmina small and oval. Alae short or long, anal region uniformly coloured. Egg capsule oval. Micropylar plate oblong.

Distribution. China (Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Xizang, Yunnan and Hong Kong), Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

Notes. Currently seven species are known from China.

Notes. Ho (2013d) reported this species from China for the first time and provided the first description of

female.

5. Planososibia qiongensis ( Ho, 2013f: 823, figs. 13–16). [Sosibia] comb. nov. Distribution. China (Hainan).

6. Planososibia truncata ( Chen & Chen, 2000: 121, figs. 2a–b). [Sosibia] Distribution. China (Guangdong and Hong Kong).
