Notes.

This taxon was described from Romania. Two syntype workers were investigated labelled " Solenopsis fugax . Latr. v. Solenopsis pontica Sants" "MOLDAVIE, VALL. DU BERLAD, A. L. Montandon", "ANTWEB CASENT 0913885"; depository NHM Basel. The placement of the worker type specimens within the S. fugax cluster has been shown in the analyses above.
