Winkler, 1927) was given precedence for the family name, Euglenes - was ruled to be the correct stem of this family-group name and Euglenesidae Seidlitz, 1875 was placed on the Official List of Family-Group Names in Zoology (ICZN 1989e); Euglenidae Seidlitz, 1875 was placed on the Official Index of Rejected and Invalid Family-Group Names in Zoology (ICZN 1989e).
