Material examined.

Holotype: male, Indonesia, Sumatra W, Lake Maninjau , 20 km S Maninjau, 480 m, 00°23’46” S 100°12’53” E, 20.ii.2002, leg. and genit. prep. 4520 M. Fibiger. Coll. MF, to be deposited in ZMUC. GoogleMaps

Paratypes: 1 male, 1 female: 1 female with same data as holotype, but genit. prep. 4517 M. Fibiger. Coll. MF GoogleMaps . 1 male, Indonesia, Sumatra W, Rimbo Panti , 250 m, 00°20’50” N 100°04’07” E, leg. and genit. prep. 4519 M. Fibiger. Coll. MF GoogleMaps .

Diagnosis.

Wingspan: 13–14 mm.

Transverse lines: brown, indistinct; basal, antemedial, postmedial, and subterminal lines well marked by a black spot by costa: terminal line marked by black elongated dots.

Reniform: elongated, brown.

Hindwing: brown.

Underside: unicolorous brown.

Abdomen: brown with long anal tuft.

Male genitalia.

Saccus: short, rounded.

Vinculum: short.

Tegumen: long.

Tergite and sternite: indistinct.

Costa: almost straight, apically with free, narrow extension; valve broadest by costal extension.

Sacculus: narrow, inconspicuous.

Ampulla: slightly asymmetrical; club-like, apically smoothly rounded, a small basal hump dorsally.

Pollex : small and apically rounded, with long hair-like setae.

Digitus: prominently asymmetrical; relatively short; right digitus shorter, straighter, and apically more blunt than left digitus.

Juxta: higher than wide, with a prominent ventral mushroom-like process.

Anellus: fused with juxta.

Phallus: extremely long and extremely narrow, broadest by ductus ejaculatorius and swollen slightly distal to this; phallus slightly tapered distally, smoothly coiling at 2/3; coecum relatively long and pointed.

Female genitalia.

Ovipositor: quadrangular.

Anterior apophyses: length equal to that of posterior apophyses.

8 th abdominal segment: very narrow, ventrally fused with 7 th segment.

7 th abdominal segment: heavily sclerotised; ostium in middle of segment; two small, hollow, semi-circular flaps anteroventrally.

6 th segment: posterior part of segment heavily sclerotised, fused with 7 th segment; anterior part of 6 th segment less heavily sclerotised – similar to rest of abdomen.

Antrum: relatively long and large, tapered, coiling, heavily sclerotised, 5 X longer than wide.

Ductus bursae: membranous, 2 X as long as corpus bursae.

Corpus bursae: globular.

Differences from T. sarawakia and T. kuchingia are listed above under T. sarawakia .
