Material examined.

Holotype: female, Vietnam NE, Fyan , 900–1000 m, 11.vii.–9.viii.1961, leg. N. R. Spenser, genit. prep. 3332 M. Fibiger. Coll. BPBM.

Diagnosis.

Wingspan: 13 mm.

Transverse lines: antemedial line well marked, black; postmedial line brown; both lines with a black spot on costa; subterminal line present but indistinct.

Reniform: indistinct, almost invisible.

Hindwing: brown

Underside: unicolorous brown.

Abdomen: brown with a black crest on first segment.

Female genitalia.

Ovipositor: quadrangular.

Anterior apophyses: length equal to that of posterior apophyses.

8 th abdominal segment: very narrow, ventrally fused with 7 th segment.

7 th abdominal segment: heavily sclerotised, anteriorly with an irregular, triangular, apically narrow extension. Antrum: short, tapered, heavily sclerotised.

Ductus bursae: membranous, long, coiling by antrum; ostium and ductus bursae 2 X as long as corpus bursae. Appendix bursae: arising posteriorly from ductus bursae immediately after antrum.

Corpus bursae: globular.

Differential diagnosis.

The female genitalia resemble those of T. odor , see under that species.
