Material examined. Russia: 2 ♁, 5 ♀, Talgi, 14.vi.2022 .

Remarks. An old record of the species in environs of Pyatigorsk is known ( Alpheraki 1876). C. mytilella was also mentioned and for the West Caucasus by Kuznetsov (2004), though its presence in the region is indicated with a question sign in the catalogue of the Lepidoptera of Russia (Sinev & Streltzov 2022).

Distribution. South and Central Europe, North Caucasus ( Kuznetsov 2004; Slamka 2008).
