Notes.

The East Palaearctic specimens provisionally identified as Gasteruption tournieri Schletterer, 1885, by Zhao et al. (2012) are included here under Gasteruption oshimense Watanabe. The different shape of the head was noticed before, but also the hind tibia and hind basitarsus are slimmer and the sculpture of the mesoscutum is less developed. Most likely it concerns a separate species and because a valid name is available, this name (correctly spelled as Gasteruption oshimense ) is used here. Especially the size of the males is very variable, e.g. length of body is 5.3-8.7 mm in the series from Langoa collected at the same spot and within one hour.
