Notonecta confusa Hungerford, 1930

Comments: N. confusa  was described based on a single male specimen from “South America ”. Later, Hungerford (1933) mentioned having one specimen labeled “ Cuba ” which belonged to the species. De Abate (1960) suspected that the species would occur in Costa Rica.
