Description of Arcicella aquatic HMF 3809
Cells are gram-staining-negative, non-flagellated, nonpigmented, and curved rod-shaped. Colonies are circuinose, D-mannose, D-mannitol, D-maltose, N -acetyl-glucosamine, capric acid, adipic acid, trisodium citrate, phenylacetic acid, potassium gluconate, and malic acid. Strain YBF1 (= NIBRBAC000498047) was isolated a fresh water sample, Yeonggwang-gun, Korea.
