Figs 14 View FIGURES 12 – 18 , 29 View FIGURES 25 – 30 , 41 View FIGURES 38 – 42

Odites malivora Meyrick, 1930: 555 . TL: China View in CoL (Heilongjiang: Manchuria). TD: BMNH. Odites xenophaea Meyrick, 1931: 74 .

Scythropiodes xenophaea (Meyrick) : Lvovsky, 1996: 650.

Scythropiodes malivora (Meyrick) : Park & Wu, 1997: 32.

Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 12 – 18 ) with wingspan 19.0–28.0 mm. This species is similar to S. ussuriella Lvovsky, 1996 , but differs from the latter in the male genitalia by the apical process of the valva being deeply concave at the base of the outer margin, and by the phallus having neither a process at distal 1/5 nor denticles preapically ( Fig. 29 View FIGURES 25 – 30 ). In S. ussuriella , the valva has an apical process shallowly concave at the base of the outer margin, and the phallus has a thorn-shaped process at distal 1/5 and two small preapical denticles ( Park & Wu 1997: Figs 17–18 View FIGURES 12 – 18 ).
