Paratypes. INDONESIA, SUMATRA: 5 males, 3 females, the same data as holotype, gen. prep. No.: AV7323 (female) ( CKC) GoogleMaps ; 1 male, South Sumatra, 900m, Lake Ranau, Tebah Hemi , 4°56’03’’S 103°57’15’’E, 18.xi.2003, Černý leg. ( CKC) GoogleMaps .

Diagnosis. The forewing length is 16.0– 16.5 mm in males and 19.5–20.0 mm in females. The male genital capsule of the new species is vaguely reminiscent of L. inusitata but can easily be distinguished by the longer and narrower uncus, the narrower and hook-like curved dorsal part of the valva gradually terminating with a thorn-shaped apical spur (it is claw-shaped in the congener), and the thin, S-like curved and apically club-shaped distal saccular process. Additionally, compared to L. inusitata , the arms of the tegumen of L. lampunga are posteriorly broader, the vinculum is narrower, and the posterior section of the juxta is more convex and serrulate (it is smooth in the congener). The phalli of the two species are similar but that of the new species has narrower distal plate covered with larger denticles. In the vesica structure, L. lampunga is distinguished from L. inusitata by the narrower diverticula bearing smaller cornuti.

Distribution. The new species is currently known from southern Sumatra Island ( Indonesia).

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Indonesian province of Lampung, where the holotype and most of the paratypes were collected. The name is a noun in the nominative singular in apposition.
