Remarks. Rochinia was redefined by Tavares (1991) updating the extensive revision by Griffin and Tranter (1986a) who provided a key to 29 species of a more inclusive genus. Davie (2002) included the genus in the subfamily Pisinae of family Majidae . Five species have been previously recorded from Australia ( Davie, 2002). Ng and Richer de Forges (2007) listed the 24 species known from the Indo-West Pacific and ten from the north-western and western Atlantic and eastern Pacific Oceans. Here, we add three species described originally from the Indo-West Pacific to the Australian fauna, comment briefly on three others, and describe a new species from Western Australia.
