Pentaneura Philippi, 1865 View in CoL
We collected the larvae of Pentaneura inconspicua ( Malloch, 1915) from Cottonwood Creek in Wasilla, Southcoastal bioregion and Grey’s Creek in Central Alaska. These are new faunistic records for Alaska. There is also a record of Pentaneura larvae from Takotna in Arctos (2023). Larvae of species in this genus are typically found in small and large bodies of water ( Cranston & Epler 2013).
