All the records of Thienemannimyia fusciceps (Edwards, 1929) are from the publications of Roback (1971, 1981, 1984). Adults were collected along the Seward Highway by a car-top trap, pupal exuviae from several creeks on the Kodiak Peninsula and from the Chatanika River near Fairbanks.
