We collected the larvae of Doncricotopus from a small stream draining a lake on the Alaska North Slope. Saether (1981) described this genus from material collected in similar habitat in Tuktoyaktuk, Northwest Territories, Canada. The larval specimens we collected are the same morphospecies larvae described by Namayandeh & Beresford (2021).
