Saetheria Jackson, 1977 View in CoL
We collected Saetheria tylus ( Townes, 1945) larvae from Meadow Creek near Big Lake, Caswell Creek off the Parks Highway (Hwy 3) and the Kanuti and Kilolitna-Kanuti Rivers in the Kanuti National Wildlife Refuge. This species is also reported from the South Fork of the Koyukuk River in the Kanuti National Wildlife Refuge ( Arctos 2023). Larvae of this species typically inhabit sandy lakes and stream substrates ( Epler et al 2013).
