Paralauterborniella Lenz, 1941 View in CoL
Paralauterborniella nigrohalteralis ( Malloch, 1915) View in CoL is the monotypic species of this genus. In mid-July, we collected an adult male of this species in a drift net set in a Yukon River distributary. This is a new faunistic record for Alaska. Our additional records of this species are larvae collected from Scottie and Desper Creeks in Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge. The collection from this habitat varies from the known habitat, which is the littoral soft sediments of lakes and Aufwuchs-covered stones ( Epler et al. 2013) .
