The male and female characters of Asphondylia View in CoL are near all similar among the species, that’s why most of the characters used in the key are from pupa, larva, host plants, and galls. The adults of A. ulei Rübsaamen View in CoL , Asphondylia zacatechichi Möhn View in CoL , and Asphondylia zexmeniae Möhn View in CoL ; the pupa of A.ajallai Möhn View in CoL , A.corbulae Möhn View in CoL , A.herculesi Möhn View in CoL ; and the larvae of A. tithoniae Möhn View in CoL are unknown; A. duplicornis Wünsch View in CoL is known only from fe- vic.
