Glyptothorax conirostre var. poonaensis Hora 1938 ZBK : 368, pl. 7 (figs. 5-6). Type locality: Mula Mutha River at Poona [Krishna drainage], Maharashtra , Bombay State, India. Holotype: ZSI F12126/1 .

Distribution: Krishna drainage, peninsular India (Jayaram, 1999).
