Genus Tapajosella n. gen.

Type species. Tapajosella elongata n. sp.

Etymology. Honorific for the Tapajós, an indigenous people of Brazil, now extinct, who once populated the region in which the species was discovered.

Diagnosis. Same diagnosis as the family.
