Type material: Paratypes: 2(1) ♂♂, 1♀, “ China, Xinjiang, road Narat-Kuytun , ca 40 km NE Narat, pass 3500 m, 16-18/ VII 1993 Jaroslav Turna leg.” ( CBK); 2(1) ♂, same locality but “alpine region, J. Kaláb leg.” ( CBK) .

Distribution. T. uygur ssp. uygur is known only from the eastern part of the Arshan mountains located between the Kash and Kunges valleys, Xinjiang, China ( Fig. 9 ).

Bionomics. The species occurs in alpine meadows at elevations of 3100–3450 m. Similarly to other members of the uygur group, this species prefers humid stony biotopes near melting snow, but at higher population densities, it can be found far from snowfields under stones.
