Material examined. Three specimens: Kuriles ( Russia), LACM-AHF s.n., 3 spec. (43º,55’5”N, 146º21’E, South Kurile Strait, 69 m, without date, coll.: V. Radashevsky) .

Diagnosis. Tube white, thick-walled, smooth, sometimes with shallow transversal ridges, lacks longitudinal ridges, peristomes or alveoli. Branchial crown with 35–49 radioles per lobe, in spiral arrangement, with 1– 1.5 whorls; interradiolar membrane quarter of radiole length. Operculum and opercular peduncle absent. Thorax not depressed dorso-ventrally. Thoracic membrane extends to last thoracic chaetiger, well developed. Col- lar and thorax with hooded (limbate) chaetae. Abdomen with geniculate chaetae ( Fig. 8J). Thoracic and abdominal uncini with teeth ( Fig. 8I). With dorsal caudal gland, brownish.

Habitat. Depth: 69 m, 27–55 m fide Berkeley and Berkeley (1952).

Distribution. North Pacific. Kurile Islands to Alaska and Canada to Washington, USA ( Pixell 1912; Berkeley & Berkeley 1952).
