Diagnosis. The forewing length is 7.5– 9 mm in males and 9–10 mm in females. The species varies in its size and shade of forewing coloration. However, the male and female genitalia of different populations are uniform. The differences from C. cyclophora sp. n. are listed in details below in the diagnosis of the latter species.

Distribution. The species is known from southern Thailand, Malaysia (Malay Peninsula and Borneo Island) and Indonesia (Sumatra and Bali Islands) ( Hampson 1900; Holloway 2001; Černý & Pinratana 2009; Bucsek 2012).
