Current name: Callicarpa candicans View in CoL (Burm. f.) Hochr. ( Verbenaceae ).

Note: Moldenke (in Phytologia 14: 114. 1966) discussed 136.2 (LINN), which he identified as C. nudiflora Hook. & Arn. , and 136.3 (LINN), annotated as “minima”, which he says is "the true C. cana L. ". Munir (in J. Adelaide Bot. Gard. 6: 19. 1982) indicated an untraced König collection as type.
