São Paulo — Cananéia: litter/soil, January 18, 2000, 4 females and 13 males; Leme: litter, February 7, 2000, 1 female; Pariquera- Açu: litter, January 16, 2000, 1 female; Pariquera-Açu: litter/soil, October 1, 2000, 12 females and 9 males; Piracicaba: litter/soil, November 11, 2000, 4 males; São Pedro: litter/soil, February 16, 2000, 1 male.

Previous records in Brazil: São Paulo State: from litter ( Mineiro et al., 2009). This species was originally described from females collected from leaf litter in Cananéia, São Paulo; specimen reported as C. phalangioides Evans & Hyatt by Mineiro & Moraes (2001) was re-identified as C. neophalangioides by Mineiro et al. (2009).
