Type species: Sejus viduus Koch, 1839 , designated by Koch, 1843. (see Lindquist & Evans, 1965: 37 for details).

Lasioseius (Cheiroseius) Berlese, 1916: 40 .

Type species: Sejus unguiculatus Berlese , by original designation. Cheiroseius . — Moraes et al., 2016: 36.

Diagnosis (adult female). A full morphological characterisation of this genus was given by Moraes et al. (2016).
