Distribution: NB to FL to eastern TX to MN. Most Kentucky records are from the eastern third of the state (Map 154).

Larval host plants: Carya glabra , Cercis canadensis , Diospyros virginiana , Fagus , Juglans nigra , Morus rubra , Prunus , Quercus rubra and Vitis ( Monné & Nearns 2022c)

Comments: Attracted to lights. Beating the foliage of their deciduous hosts can also yield specimens ( Bousquet et al. 2017).
