Type species — Eutrypanus triangulifer Erichson, 1847 (monotypy).

Astynomus ; Laporte, 1840: 463 (partim).

Diagnosis. Elytra at least twice as long as humeral width, without centrobasal crest or carinae; ovipositor distinctly projected beyond the elytral apex; profemora not dilated in either sex; meso- and metafemora clavate. Number of species currently included: 6.
