Paratypes: NCSU (6♀). These are labelled as paratypes, but none are mentioned in the literature .
Panorpa banksiana Penny and Byers 1979: 376 View in CoL (new name for interrupta Banks 1918 assigned due to homonymy with interrupta Navás 1913 ); Byers 1993: 73 fig 30 (genital bulb of ♂ syntype).
