Male Body small, medium sized for the tribe Meconematini . Fastigium verticis conical, apex rounded, with a longitudinal sulcus. Apical segment of maxillary palpi as long as subapical one, apices moderately inflated. Pronotum with anterior margin straight, and with posterior margin rounded; lateral lobes longer than deep; humeral sinus slightly distinct. Thoracic foramen exposed, long and narrow.

Tegmina long, distinctly surpassing apices of postfemora, hind wings longer than tegmina. Procoxae with a spine, protibiae with 5 spines on inner and outer margins on ventral surface, tibial tympana open on both sides, long oval. Midtibiae with 5–6 spines on inner and outer margins on ventral surface. Posttibiae with 25–28 spines on inner and outer margins of dorsal surface separately, bearing 1 pair of dorsal apical spurs and 2 pairs of ventral apical spurs.

Posterior margin of tenth abdominal tergite with a pair of posterior processes, apices rounded, slightly broadened ventrad. Cerci moderately curved upwards, inner margin of basal area with a notch, the other area of ventral surface after it enlarged inwards, with distinct edge, apices of cerci rounded. Subgenital plate with basal area broad, apical half narrowing, posterior margin with an obtuse angle shaped notch. Styli stout and short on ventral margin of subapex of subgenital plate.

Coloration. Body light yellowish brown, probably green in life. Eyes brown. Pronotum with a pair of black longitudinal stripes on disc. Genicular lobes of postfemur with a black spot, spines on dorsal surface of postfemur blackish brown.

Female. Unknown.

Specimens examined. Holotype: male, Simianshan, Jiangjin, Chongqing, China, 19 August, 2016, collected by Xi- Cui Du. Other specimen: 1 male, Simianshan, Jiangjin , Chongqing, China, 19 August, 2016, collected by Xi-Cui Du, this specimen was broken in the base of abdomen.

Measurements(mm). Body: ♂ 8.5; pronotum: ♂ 2.9–3.0; postfemur: ♂ 8.8; tegmen: ♂ 17.0.

Discussion. The new species resembles Xizicus (Eoxizicus) divergentis ( Liu & Zhang, 2000) and Xizicus (Eoxizicus) xiai ( Liu & Zhang, 2000) , but differs from them in: posterior processes of male tenth abdominal tergite straight; inner margin of base area of cerci with a notch, the other area of ventral surface after the notch enlarged inwards, with distinct edge; subgenital plate with posterior margin narrow; styli stout and short.

Etymology. The name of the new species is derived from the type locality.
