Hypothesized placement.

Nannaria "Claytor Lake" specimens are hypothesized to be closely related to N. hokie and belong to the Nannaria castanea clade based on the following combination of gonopod characters: Acropodite distal zone elongated and presence of a small medial flange near the acropodite tip. Nannaria "Claytor Lake" can be separated from other Nannaria castanea clade species based on the following combination of gonopodal characters: Acropodite tip robust and directed medially (Fig. 117A View Figure 117 , red triangle), not directed caudally as in other members of the Nannaria castanea clade. Telopodite basal zone with distinct concave depression (Fig. 117B View Figure 117 , red arrow), not found in other members of the Nannaria castanea clade.
