Remarks.

Along with Chrysis nobilis (= Chrysis stilboides ), there is a second specimen corresponding to the description of Chrysis incerta Dahlbom, 1854 in the Spinolia collection. Even though it does not bear labels with locality data (the original description states: "Cajennae, Dom. Buquet; Mus. Dom. Spinola "), this specimen could be the type of Chrysis incerta . Kimsey and Bohart (1991) listed syntype males presumably housed in MRSN and placed Chrysis incerta as synonym of Chrysis stilboides (Spinola, 1838).
