Habitats: tussock tundra; moss and alder litter; peatlands; Hedysarum , Senecio , Saxifraga among rocks; mixed alpine vegetation; coastal meadows.
Distribution: Nearctic.
Remarks: All misidentifications noted in Marshall et al. (1987) are sub Tegoribates latirostris .
