Habitats: wet and dry tundra meadows; alpine tundra; subarctic forest litter including aspen, spruce, alder, birch and Douglas fir.
Distribution: Holarctic.
Remarks: This species was first transferred to Eueremaeus by Behan-Pelletier (1993b), but therein the combination was wrongly attributed to Marshall et al. (1987).
