New records. HONSHU: 1 male, Hiroshima Prefecture, Hiroshima-shi, Kabe, July 6–7, 2006, leg. T. Saigusa (KMNH). RYUKYUS: 1 male, Kagoshima Prefecture, Amami-Ôshima, Yuwandake, June 23, 1972, leg. K. Kanmiya (in MZLU).

Remarks. Manota epigrata was previously recorded from Chaiyaphum, Chiang Mai, Phechabun and Phitsanulok, Thailand (Hippa 2009).
