Singapore records.

No published records.

Remarks. Three museum specimens of P. asper have Singapore as their locality. Specimen CAS 16796 was collected by Thompson in August 1908, ZMH A15212 was collected by Schwinghammer on 29 October 1908 (both from unknown locations), and BPBM 7043 was collected by Hendrickson on 23 December 1953 at the old University of Malaya campus in Singapore. Although P. asper ranges from Myanmar and Thailand south to southern Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, and Borneo ( Grismer 2011a), its preference for fast-flowing rivers ( Grismer 2011a), excludes it from Singapore.

LKCNHM & NHMUK Museum specimens. No specimens.

Additional Singapore museum specimens. Singapore (no locality): CAS, ZMH; University of Malaya [= NUS Bukit Timah]: BPBM.
