4. Lonchodryinus sinensis Olmi, 1984

(Plates 62A, B, 63A)

Lonchodryinus sinensis Olmi 1984: 273; Olmi 1992a: 189; He & Xu 2002: 107; Olmi: Xu et al. 2012a: 12.

Lonchodryinus verticis Xu & He 1994a: 129 (synonymized by Olmi 2000b); type locality: Mt. Fanjingshan (Guizhou, China).

Lonchodryinus cheni Xu & He 1997a: 42 (synonymized by Olmi 2000b); type locality: Mt. Tianmushan (Zhejiang, China).

Description of female (Plate 62A). Fully winged; length 2.3–4.8 mm. Head black, except clypeus and area between antennal toruli testaceous-yellow; mandible testaceous, except teeth brown (in few specimens from China, Taiwan, Anmashan and Tsuifeng, gena, temple and most part of face and vertex testaceous); antenna completely brown in holotype; antenna testaceous-brown, except segments 1–2 testaceous, in other specimens; mesosoma black; in holotype propleuron brown and posterior tubercle of pronotum testaceous; in specimen from China, Sichuan, Moxi Town, posterior margin of pronotum and anterior half of scutum brown–reddish; metasoma brown or black; legs of holotype testaceous, except clubs of femora and metacoxa partly brown; legs of other specimens yellow, except brown spot on dorsal proximal third of metacoxa and stalk of metafemur brownish. Antenna clavate; antennal segments of holotype in following proportions: 10:7:13:13:10:11:9:9:9:12; antennal segments of specimen from China, Mt. Ziboshan, in following proportions: 13:9:16:14:14:12:11:10:10:15. Head shiny, smooth, slightly convex, finely or more strongly punctate, unsculptured among punctures; frontal line absent; face without two lateral keels directed towards antennal toruli; occipital carina complete; holotype with POL = 4; OL = 2.5; OOL = 7; OPL = 4; TL = 5; specimen from China, Mt. Ziboshan, with POL = 7; OL = 4.5; OOL = 12; OPL = 6; TL = 10; greatest diameter of posterior ocelli shorter than OPL (4:6). Pronotum shiny, crossed by transverse impression, very strongly punctate; surface of anterior region of pronotum apparently reticulate rugose, because of very large and strong punctures; posterior surface of pronotum shorter than scutum (6: 16 in holotype; 10: 23 in specimen from China, Mt. Ziboshan); pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Scutum, scutellum and metanotum shiny, punctate, unsculptured among punctures; scutellum and metanotum of holotype very finely punctate; notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.5–0.7 length of scutum. Propodeum with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; dorsal surface reticulate rugose; posterior surface with two complete longitudinal keels and median area as rugose as lateral areas; median area of a specimen from China, Mt. Ziboshan, mostly smooth, shiny, punctate and unsculptured among punctures. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein longer than proximal part (10: 9 in holotype; 10: 8 in specimen from China, Mt. Ziboshan); stigmal vein forming angle between distal and proximal part. Protarsal segments of holotype in following proportions: 11:3:2.5:6:14; protarsal segments of specimen from China, Mt. Ziboshan, in following proportions: 18:4:5:9:28. Enlarged claw (Plate 62B) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle; segment 5 of protarsus (Plate 62B) with basal part shorter than distal part (6:8), without preapical furrow, with two rows of 38–44 lamellae (in specimen from China, Mt. Ziboshan, one row of 17 lamellae); distal apex with five–six lamellae; tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Description of Male. Fully winged; length 2.4–2.5 mm (3.1–3.6 mm in specimens from Myanmar, Kambaiti); Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna brown; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs testaceous, except metacoxa partly black. Antenna filiform; antennal segments in following proportions: 10:5:10:11:12:11:9:10:9:12. Head shiny, finely punctate, unsculptured among punctures; frontal line absent; occipital carina complete; POL = 5; OL = 1.5; OOL = 7; OPL = 4; TL = 6. Scutum, scutellum and metanotum shiny, finely punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.4–0.5 length of scutum. Propodeum dull, reticulate rugose, without transverse or longitudinal keels; occasionally posterior surface with two longitudinal keels. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein slightly longer than proximal part (11:10). Paramere (Plate 63A) with inner margin not deeply emarginated, without papillae on inner side. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Remarks. The difference between the males of L. ruficornis and L. sinensis (paramere with inner margin not or slightly emarginated) is sometimes difficult to evaluate, depending on the crushement of the genitalia.
