Remarks

A single otolith of this species was collected from the “upper” Lisbon Formation (Alabama) ( Table 1 View Table 1 ). Despite its poor preservation, the characteristically very elongate otolith shape and the straight but obliquely ventrally oriented sulcus allow a conclusive identification.
