Distribution and habitat. Malaysia (Sabah); Indonesia (Bali); Philippines (Visayas); Papua New Guinea (Madang); Guam; Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas (Tinian); Chesterfield Islands (East Coral Sea). Sand-rubble bottoms near reefs, 2–35 m depth.
